Privacy Policy

NO-POROSIS (no-porosis.com, the "Service") is a static website providing information about osteoporosis.

1. Information We Receive

The Service receives only two kinds of information from you.

• • The content of enquiry emails — information you send us yourself by email (your name, email address, message, and so on). We use it only to reply and to understand your enquiry.
• • Browsing information from analytics — which pages were viewed, the referring site, approximate region, and device or browser type. We do not use it to identify individuals (see section 4).

2. Information Stored Only in Your Browser

Settings that affect readability are stored in your own browser (localStorage). They are never sent to our servers.

• • Your text size setting
• • Your language choice (Japanese or English)
• • Which column posts you have read

You can delete any of these from your browser settings at any time. Doing so does not affect your ability to read the articles.

3. Figures You Enter into the Tools

Height, weight, and similar figures entered into tools such as the BMI calculator are used for the calculation in the memory of the page you are on. They are neither transmitted nor stored.

Reloading or closing the page discards what you entered. If you want a record, print the page or save a screenshot.

4. Analytics

The Service uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand which articles are being read and to improve them. Using cookies and similar technologies, information such as the pages viewed and the referring site is sent to Google. Google handles that information under its own privacy policy.

We do not run advertising tracking.

If you would rather not be included in analytics, you can use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or block cookies in your browser.

5. Embedded Third-Party Services

Pages that carry a video embed the YouTube (Google) player. Opening those pages causes a connection to YouTube, and Google’s cookies may be used.

6. Disclosure to Third Parties

Information received through an enquiry is not disclosed to third parties, except:

• • where required by law
• • where necessary to protect a person’s life, body, or property
• • where you have consented

We do not provide user information to sponsor companies.

7. Your Rights

Because the Service has no accounts, the only information subject to disclosure, correction, or deletion is the content of enquiry emails you have sent us.

Please make any such request using the contact address below. The settings stored in your browser (section 2) can be deleted by you at any time.

8. If a Breach Occurs

If a leak of personal information entrusted to us comes to light, we will:

• • promptly establish the scope of the impact and prevent further harm
• • report it to the Personal Information Protection Commission
• • notify affected users without delay
• • investigate the cause and put preventive measures in place

9. Changes to This Policy

This policy may change as the law changes or as the Service is improved. Any revised version applies from the moment it is published on this page.
